On June 29, 2016, more than 70 media outlets in the San Francisco area are banding together to flood the news cycle with stories about homelessness. As we get closer to that date, more and more cities are signing on to do the same. Be part of the story and ask your local media to cover homelessness tomorrow.

Dear Editor,
On June 29, more than 70 San Francisco media outlets are coordinating their coverage to bring attention to the city’s homelessness crisis.Editors of major news sources, motivated by the thousands of individuals without access to housing, are working together to flood the news cycle with stories of the problems, solutions and people most effected. The goal is to promote civil discourse, hold elected officials accountable, and inspire change. Here in [your city], homelessness remains a visible and constant concern. Too many people are without permanent homes, despite our knowledge that homelessness is a solvable problemI am asking for your help in changing this. I urge you to participate in the coordinated coverage on June 29 by reporting on homelessness in our own community, along side other reporters across the nation.
